Easy Cannabutter for Beginners

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cake pan for the oven

  • 1 Pot for boiling

  • 1/2 oz Herbs of your choice

  • 2 sticks (1 cup) clarified Butter

  • 2 Cups water

  • Cheesecloth or strainer

  1. Preheat oven to 240 degrees. Grind your herbs up (I prefer a chunky grind but you do you) and spread your herbs evenly in the pan. Cover you pan up tightly with aluminum foil. Put in the oven for 30mins.

  2. Take your pot, fill it with 2 cups of water and your 2 sticks of butter. Heat on low. Once the butter is melted, add your herbs in.

  3. Leave on low heat for 4hrs. Stir every half hour or so. If you feel like the water is evaporating too much, you can add more, you do not want all the water to evaporate and burn your butter.

  4. Take butter off heat. Let cool down to room temperature and strain. Store in refrigerator for at least an hour so the butter can separate from the water. Take the butter out and throw away the water. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week or in the freezer for up to 6 months.
